Hi, this is my last homework assignment! Its about something that happened to me during schol, during physical education (PE) lessons. It was a soccer game, and during the warmups, a friend of mine, named Kevin, tripped over the ball and sprained his ankle. So i had to accompany him to the PE department to put ice on it and wrap it up in a cloth to prevent further swelling. During the time we were sitting there, idle, we were able to talk and express our feelings to each other about certain things, like the large amount of projects we were being forced to do. This gave us a chance to strengthen our friendship, and close the distance between us. And even though we missed our favourite lesson, we still had a pretty good time.

Homework, ( assignment 2 )
hi everyone, another homework assignment, so dont read, too boring. This is about something unusual that happened yesterday. One of my friends, Marco Pollo, moved to Malaysia and told me only a day before he left. Yes, his name is Marco Pollo, like the one you know, who explored the east. Except that the one I know has two "L"s in his surname. He's even from Venice! Yesterday, in the library, he decided to tell me that he was leaving for Malaysia the following day.
I didnt know what to say, I had known him for about a year in French class and he was about to leave with less than 10 hours notice. Pretty shocking if you ask me. And the next day, did not see him in the library again, this wasn't one of his jokes. So now I have no one to go to french class with and I'm alone studying a stupid language called French all alone. So sad. I'm not being an "emo" or anything, its just that he was the only friend I had in french class, and now i will be all alone in a class full of RGS girls. That's just sad isn't it?

A moment spent alone doing something i enjoyed( school assignment )
Hi everyone who's reading! Er, this is my homework, an english assignment so it may be boring. Its also a school day for me and I'm posting from school.
Yesterday, during cross country training, I ran alone along Thompson road, because due to an injury to my knee,Ii cant run in the forest. I am stuck to doing strictly flat ground training. It was very interesting because I could run anywhere I wanted to after I had done my own long runs - 3 x 3.2 and 1 x 4.8. It was fun yet boring to run alone. No one to talk to and so many places to explore.
I ran off into the forest onto the boardwalk. It is a little boardwalk along the shores of the reservoir. It was still countered as flat ground training, and there was a wonderful view of the entire reservoir. Unfortunately, I ran into a troupe of monkeys on the boardwalk which was too thin for me to walk past them. The monkeys living here attack people for food if you didnt know! Anyways, they growled and chased me, and I dashed off to the safety of the main road, which was a good 5 minutes away!
Anyway, that what I enjoy doing, running alone for a while, it helps to reduce stress from school. Ok, i think that's about all i have to tell you. Bye.

hi all, i just got back from cross country training today, and im exhausted! I ran pretty far today - 3 x 3.2km and 1 x 4.8, followed by and unmeasured slow run, about 2 or 3km. i feel dead tired and im probably going to hit the sack early tonight cos i have school tomorrow. I am going to tell you about my CCA for a few minutes, then i have got to go. Ok, erm, i can start with some of my friends, like Merritt. He's the first friend i made that was on the team, and i think he's my best friend on the team as well. Then there is Santosh, he is from nepal, and is a very good runner and soccer player and is very popular. There is also Kelvin, from cambodia, and is also very popular and very good at soccer, and, he's the "C" division captain. He's quite humble about it, and he's very funny. There are some new sec 1 runners that i havent gotten a chance to meet yet, and i look forward to finding time to talk to them. I know one of them who is from my primary school and his name is Kevin. He's tall, skinny, and i think he's pretty good at his studies.I dont know the upper secondary boys very well, but i will tell you what i do know about some of them. My favourite one would have to be Thava, sorry if i didnt spell it correctly, but thats how most of us pronounce his name. He's a skinny, well not so skinny, indian guy who's very very funny and we make fun of his so called " very hairy legs " and Merritt teases him by called him a "hairy gorilla" and "hairy monster", and that makes all of us laugh, even Thava. He's a very good natured person, who doesnt feel hurt by our comments on his hairy legs, and takes them in good stride. The team captain used to be Ashraf, who is another good soccer player, but now he is in Junior College, so he doesnt run with us anymore. The new team captain is Kevin, and he's quite nice to me, and he seemed to care alot about my leg when i injured it. Another guy who has graduated to JC is Lee Ming Hui. He was the fastest runner on our team last year, til he went off to JC. He was also the fastest runner in singapore at one time too! But he still turns up for training with us. He's my so called role model, and i think he is for alot of other boys, because he's very mature, responsible, confident but not cocky, and good natured. He's a little withdrawn though, rarely shares his personal comments with others.
Another few role models are Alan, D'cruz and Rong Hua. They have all come and gone as Victorians, and passed JC. Alan is now in the army! And yet they still come for training despite the fact that they could have stopped years ago. They come to encourage us and talk to us and stuff like that. I admire Alan the most because of his never say die attitude. He never gives up on anything. I heard that he and Rong Hua are the best of friends. Other runners that i havent metioned yet include Joseph, Josiah, Terence, Anur, and Jonathan. Sorry if i forgot to mention any other cross country members! I like Anur most of the above names, because he's serious when its time to be serious, and slack and funny when the time is right. Got to go for now. On the next blog i will tell you about my cross country training trip to Chiangmai, Thailand.

hi everyone, i changed my blog theme again, and got you a new chicken to play with. I have to blog everyday i guess, so today i will tell you about my CCA and my hobbies.
First, in case you didnt know, my CCA is cross country, and it is a respected sport in my school. All my friends think im good at it and i like it, but i dont really like it much. Its very tiring, and i only get home around 8.15 at night. The only time i have at home is while im asleep! I dont hate running, i just wish i could go home earlier. Apart from that, its pretty fun, because i get to run with friends, and we can talk while running at a comfortable pace.
Problem is, training is at 5pm, quite late, and its at a reservoir called Macritchie reservoir, and thats very very far away from my house! Thats why i get home so late. I was thinking about how long i am away from home in a usual school day and it added up to this : 6:45am, leave house, 8.15 get home. I am away at school for about 13 and half hours!
Ok im done complaining, i will have to tell you about my hobbies another day cos ive got to go eat dinner.

Ok, since im bored, and have nothing to do, i will tell you about my friends and my hobbies right now. My favourite sport would have to be soccer, and while i play with my classmates, it helps to build friendship. I met my best friend through a game of soccer when i was 9 or 10. ( i am about 13 yrs old now. ) His name is Sean. I didnt even know him before i played with him, he was just another face in a sea of boys i didnt know. But, when we started talking with each other, we just clicked somehow. And ever since then, we have been very good friends. In secondary school, we got into different classes. I was in the english class, cos i got an A star in english, and he went into the sports class, where all the sports boys go. Thats where i would have been if it werent for my english. But now i wish i hadnt gotten an A star so that i could have gone into the sports class, where all the cross country members are, and where Sean is. Now, i dont think we are the best of friends anymore, because when i meet him, usually all that happens is a meek "hi" and a nod of the head, and thats about it. Sometimes, on an occasion when we do play together, we have lots of fun, but thats very rare. Other good friends that i've made include a littl boy called marshall. He looks as if he's 10 or something, but he's very nice. Most of the other boys this he's a wimp, and a lame band member, and since im in cross country, ( which a very highly respected sport in my school, because we've been winning in national level for 19 years straight ) i should not make friends with such " losers". But i think that your hobbies, interests and passions have nothing to do with you being a loser or a champion, its about how much effort you put into your sport or interest, and how motivated you are to be the best at something, and that's why i dont think he's a loser. Sometimes he thinks low of himself and goes all "emo" and then i just stop talking to him for a while, then he fixes it all out, whatever his problem may be, then he's his happy normal self again. Still, all the other boys say that a cross country runner should make better friends. So, im not really sure what to do. But i think my friend are pretty good, and i should stick with them.
Im probably going to leave for now, but before that, since i aint got no other things to blog about, and my teacher will kill me if i dont post anything, i will tell you about my day. Well, my started as usual, in the most boring way possible, cos i walk to school most of the distance. If you have time to walk a few bus stops, walk a few. its not going to kill you, buses are for people with no time to walk, and for SLACKERS. So i go up for assembly, where we sing the national anthem and school song, then trudge up to class like zombies. (by the way, my nickname in another class is "zombie". please dont ask why.)
The only period worth actually telling you about is history class. Its the teacher. His name is Mr. Thiru and he's probably the class's most popular teacher because of his teaching methods, very derogatory buy nevertheless meaningfully derogatory. He's the only teacher that can make the whole class laugh every two minutes.
Then after we survive another uneventful day, school ends, and everyone marches out of their classes smartly. Well, actually there is alot of screaming and scrambling and running, but we're used to that.
Everyone then goes off for co curricular activities (CCA), like soccer and hockey and chess club and stuff like that. I'm in the cross country team. Today i had no CCA, so i went off to play a little bit of soccer with my friends, then i went home.
Ok thats about it, but, tomorrow i can tell you about my friends and such.
Au revoir. ( My mothertongue is french, though i aint too good at it! )

i think blogging is a waste of lesson time. The only reason why im blogging is because my teacher forced me to. And by the way, i dont like blogging, and this is my first time.Anyway, im going to have to get used to it, and make a good blog, cos my teacher will probably be monitoring it. Have a good time reading my pointless blog
